What does CalendarSphere make?
CalendarSphere is a set of free printable makers. Each one draws a print-ready PDF on your own device from the choices you make:
- Calendars: yearly and monthly calendars, a school-year calendar, and calendars with public holidays for United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and India.
- Planners: weekly planner, daily planner, meal planner, habit tracker, budget planner, to-do list and planner inserts, in full-page and insert sizes.
- Paper: graph paper, lined paper and dot grid paper at exact sizes.
- Classroom printables: handwriting practice, math drills, word search maker, bingo cards, chore chart, reward chart and certificate maker.
How are the calendars and printables made?
Every page is drawn from code, not from a fixed template file. Weekdays, leap years and ISO week numbers are calculated for each year, so a calendar is correct for whichever year and start day you choose. The same drawing is used for the on-screen preview and for the PDF, so what you see is what prints.
PDFs are vector files at the exact size of US Letter and A4 paper, with a 0.5 in (12.7 mm) margin that home and office printers can reach. Text stays sharp at any zoom, and the fonts are trimmed to the characters the pages use, which keeps files small.
Where do the holiday dates come from?
Public holidays for United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and India come from the open-source date-holidays database, including state, province and nation holidays where they differ. India’s dates follow the list the Department of Personnel and Training publishes each year. Before each calendar season we compare every country with its official list, such as the US federal holidays and UK bank holidays.
Week numbers follow the ISO 8601 standard used across Europe and in many workplaces: weeks start on Monday, and week 1 holds the year’s first Thursday.
What happens to my events and words?
Nothing you type into a maker leaves your device. Events, names, word lists and settings are saved in your browser’s storage, and the PDF is built there too. There are no accounts. The only exception is the optional email sign-up. See the privacy policy for the details, including the cookies used by ads.
Why is it free?
Ads on the page pay for the site. They are kept away from the maker controls and never appear on the calendars, planners, paper or worksheets you print.
